Exact location, directions and meeting place will be made available to you once event registration and payment (where applicable) is confirmed.
Start your weekend early and get your groove on and explore the disco era through the windows of time at the John Curtin Hotel.

As part of the Melbourne Music Week Live Music Safari, the Curtin is taking a trip down memory lane to the the time of big hair, sequins and glitter back to '70s and '80s when disco fever was what is was all about.

The music lineup on the night features soul-disco infusion of Sugar Fed Leopards conjuring up Ike-and-Tina magic with their soul-twisted disco originals, cult favourites Sex On Toast with their RnB and synth-funk and and choreographed dance moves all topped off a 1980s montage that inspires conga lines thanks to The Vaudeville Smash.

We promise you’ll be finding glitter in your follicles for decades to come!

Join us prior to the gig for a Huxtaburger feast (yep, you heard right - the Curtin is surrendering its kitchen to Team Huxtaburger to create a popup restaurant). The menu will feature most of the Huxataburger favourites, along with a new southern-fried chicken, coleslaw and jalapeño salsa option called CLAIR - how very '80s!. No cover charge for the gigon the night, all food and drinks at own expense.
