Did someone say sushi? Join us at Melbourne’s latest dining precinct, South Wharf Promenade, for some  traditional Japanese izakaya-style dishes at Akachochin.
Named after the red paper lanterns that hang outside traditional Japanese izakayas, Akachochin is an elegant and modern Tokyo-style bar with a sushi bar as the focal point (of course!).

Not your everyday izakaya, Akachochin focusses on famous traditional dishes from different prefectures in Japan presented with a modern twist. With standout dishes such as the kingfish tartare and a grilled menu devised by the former Nobu chef, Kengo Hiromatsu, the food here is sure to get your chopsticks clacking.

For sake fans, there are around 50 different types of sake available, served hot or cold in unique ceramic and glass vessels, which you will be able to match with the regions from which your dishes originate – literally allowing you to eat and drink your way around Japan. If sake is not your thing, of course there is also a range of beers and other beverages available.

So join us for this Japanese experience and enjoy a great night out! Meet your host at the table(s) booked for My Social Circle. All food and drinks at own expense.
