Celebrate the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival at wagamama.

Join us with resident sake master Toshi Maeda for an evening of sake and perfectly paired wagamama favourites. Tour the regions of Japan through the flavours of this quintessential Japanese beverage.

Toshi will spend the evening taking you through the brewing process, while guiding you through the range of flavours that wagamama’s sake has to offer. All this, while you sample the sake and some delicious wagamama favourites that have been expertly paired by wagamama’s chefs.

The night includes:
  • sake basic knowledge including brewing process, region, grade & how to drink
  • sample tasting (5 different sake from the main menu)
  • canapé & sake matching
Sake line up & food pairing
  1. kizakura yuzu highball paired with salted edamame
  2. kizakura nigori paired with chilli squid
  3. rihaku junmai blue purity paired with beef yakitori
  4. kizakura yamahai jikomi paired with spicy chicken itame
  5. choya umeshu paired with green tea ice cream
Look for your host at the table reserved for as. Price includes sake tastings and matching canapes as described above. All additional food and drinks at own expense.
