Join foodies and history buffs alike in a memorable walk through the hidden Chocolate History of Victoria. Yes, there is chocolate to eat, but this tour is also about the Melbourne’s cocoa-rich past and we guarantee that you will never look at a chocolate Freddo the same way again!.

Follow professional chocolatier and tour guide Howard Frederick as he takes us on a two hour journey through the secret chocolate laneways of the working-class neighbourhood turned hipsterville areas of Fitzroy and Collingwood.

Gambol through the “Great White Chocolate City” (once employing 3,000 people). Learn about the "Chocolate King of Victoria", MacPherson Robertson - where he began his business as a teenager and where he achieved his biggest successes as the inventor of Freddo Frog, Cherry Ripe and Old Gold. The tour also highlights other famous chocolatiers in the neighbourhood such as Everfresh Snowball, Simpson’s and Craig & Hales.

To finish of the day, we enjoy a chocolate tasting and a high tea at Collingwood’s High Tea Szalón, Mámor Chocolates

Price includes 2 hour historical tour and 30 minute Chocolate Tasting High Tea service at the end of the tour. All other food and drinks at own expense.
