Live music Night: Mick Thomas & The Roving Commission Annual Xmas Show

Get into the festive spirit and join us for a silly season evening of classics and new tunes from one of Australia's best-loved musicians at one of Melbourne's iconic live music venues.

Best known as the poetic, Blundstone-wearing songman of pub-rock icons Weddings Parties Anything, Mick Thomas has a cracking new band behind him, The Roving Commission are they're coming to The Corner Hotel the first time to present their Annual Christmas show, and it is a show not to be missed.

After a career of playing fully fledged national tours pretty much every Christmas, Mick and long time long-time musical collaborator Mark Squeezebox Wally felt it was time to make a really simple, fun record that would be good to play on the road. The result is ‘Christmas Day at Spencer Street’, and this is Mick’s Jolly Old Christmas Tour.

Meet your host in the Corner Hotel rooftop bar to grab a drink or two and/or a bite to eat before we make our way downstairs for the gig. Price includes show ticket only, all food and drinks at own expense.
