Summertime Cinema Cults & Classics: Roman Holiday

Enjoy a balmy summer's night under the stars watching the classic film, Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Filmed on location in Rome this Academy Award winning romantic comedy is a classic not to be missed.

Princess Ann (Audrey Hepburn) is weary of the restrictions and obligations of her royal duties. On a diplomatic visit to Rome, she escapes her guardians to explore the city on her own. On her travels she encounters Joe Bradley (Gregory Peck) who hides his identity as an American journalist from the Princess.

So pack a picnic, bring a blanket (or chair) and settle back and enjoy this classic film in the beautiful surrounds of Creswick Reserve.  A variety of food, as well as hot and cold beverages, will also be available for purchase on site at own expense. No alcohol will be available for sale, but BYO is permitted.

Meet your host at the Creswick Street entrance.  We will be arriving early to secure a good vantage point. Late arrivals will need to find the group once settled. There will be pre- screening entertainment from 8pm with the movie screening shortly after sunset (approximately 8.45).
