Waitangi Day commemorates the 1840 signing of New Zealand's founding document - the Treaty of Waitangi and what better way to celebrate it than with a swag of Kiwi craft beers?

We all know that the Kiwis make some incredible beer and Wellington (we speak from experience), is up there with the best of them. And now And now Wellington is coming to Oz and landing at The Catfish.

Named after the classic 40s song Catfish Blues, The Catfish is all about beer, whisky and blues (and authentic Philly Cheese Steaks) and stands where what was previously home to Gertrude’s Brown Couch.

The Wellington Craft Beer Symposium sees beers from the likes of Tuatara, Garage Project, Parrot Dog, 8 Wired, Renaissance and Yeastie Boys taking over The Catfish beer taps. Actual list to be finalised closer to the day, so watch this space!

There will be live music with Aleister James & The Jimson Line playing rocking blues tunes and the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a trip for two to Wellington for Beervana (the largest gathering of craft brewers and associated beer products in New Zealand), including flights AND accommodation.

Look for your host at the reserved table at the venue. All other food and drinks at own expense.
