Pancake Tuesday (shrove Tuesday) - Frensh Crepes @ Roule Galette

Pancake Day (or Shrove Tuesday) is regarded as a day to feast on pancakes in order to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar before the fasting season of the 40 days of Lent. 

Whether you intend to fast or not, Pancake Day is the one day we all go pancake crazy and tonight, we thought we'd thrown in a little ooh la la and feast on French pancakes (or crepes) at Roule Gallette.

Tucked away in an alley off Flinders Lane. Roule Galette is a little piece of France in the city where you will find delicious crepes, sweet or savoury, just as they are made in Brittany.

The menu offers an array of delicious galettes (savoury) and crepes (sweet) and other offerings including French ciders and wines. They offer both traditional fillings including the Complete (egg, ham, and cheese) and non-traditional fillings including the Aussie (egg, bacon, and baked beans) and a host of sweet fillings to satisfy any sweet tooth.
