What better way to support those New Year's resolutions to get healthy than to stock up on fresh farm produce? Join us Melbourne Oldest farmer's market at the Collingwood Children's Farm.

Nestled in a bend on the Yarra, just 4kms from the CBD, the inner city farm is a Melbourne treasure. Since 2002, Victoria’s farmers and specialty makers have gathered to bring you fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables, free range meat, turkey, chickens & eggs, olives & oil, icecream, dairy & handmade cheeses, honey, cakes & breads, jams & chutneys, fresh pasta, flowers & seedlings plus plenty for brekkie, freshly brewed coffee and chai while you shop. And that’s just the beginning….

The Farm also has its own stall with seasonal produce from the farm plus their fabulous tussie mussies (herb bouquets) and no food miles whatsoever! The pancake stall supports the Young Farmers program and is run by volunteers.

After we have had our fill at the market, we can head to the Farm Cafe or the nearby Convent Bakery  to grab some lunch or perhaps the Boiler Room Bar for a drink or two while we soak up the sunshine.

Look for your host by the farm entrance. Use the number from the SMS reminder if you have trouble finding us.  The market is plastic bag free so don’t forget to BYO trolley, basket and bags. Entry is $2 per adult, payable at the entrance.  All food and drinks at own expense.
