Comedy Night: BEHIND THE SEAMS with Bobby and the Pins & The Ukulele Ladies

Join us for a fun-filled night of ridiculous tales from behind-the seams featuring lady cabaret group, Bobby and the Pins and special guests The Ukulele Ladies.

If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a lady cabaret group, you’re about to find out. The night will be unscripted, unplanned, filled to the brim with lady harmonies and things may just get a little crazy.

Bobby and the Pins will take you on a journey into life in a barbershop quartet, revealing outlandish ideas that never made it to stage and never-before-told stories of lady group dynamics.

Accompanying these four 1950s anti-housewives, are The Ukulele Ladies’ Dusty and Rhoda, who will divulge the secrets of their lives: from a childhood on the East Coast of New Zealand dealing lanolin to the Spinners and Weavers guild, to the guilty instrument hoarding, and of course the marriages and multitude of court cases, from Supreme to Family.

Meet your host in the Wesley Anne front bar prior to the show us for a drink or two (try a home-made mulled wine if its cool) and/or a bite to eat from the Wesley Anne kitchen. The Kain Borlase Trio will also be playing on the night to make the evening all the more worthwhile.

Tickets to the show are $12, payable at the door on the night. All food and drinks at own expense. Main show icks off at 8pm.
