Friday Nights at Italian Masterpieces featuring The Audreys

Join us for late-night art evening at view Italian Masterpieces after hours and enjoy talks, DJs, great food and wine and some great live music from folk-rock duo, The Audreys.

Featuring some of the most outstanding works from masters such as Raphael, Titian and Tiepolo, the Italian Masterpieces exhibition represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Australia to see some of the most extraordinary Italian works produced during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, many from the Royal Court in Spain. Showcasing over 100 works comprising 70 paintings, some measuring over 3 metres, alongside more than 30 superb drawings, the exhibition has been drawn from one of the world's most celebrated collections, Museo del Prado, Madrid.

Prior, visiting the exhibition we'll sip on some wine while enjoying the evening's musical act in the stunning surrounds of the NGV's Great Hall. 

Hailing from Adelaide, The Audreys' Taasha sings and plays tiny guitars and keys, and Tristan plays normal-sized guitars and doesn't sing. Since forming in 2004, they have become one of Australia’s most respected folk rock acts.

Look for your host outside the NGV entry (by the waterfall wall). Price includes exhibition entry, talks and DJs and live music. There will be a contemporary Italian inspired bar menu on offer including antipasto, sliders, soup, pizzas and panini - all food and drinks at own expense.
